Simple Faith Ranch has been the result of the collective inspiration and prayers of its founders John and Tracey Klein and their six children, who lovingly refer to themselves as Team Klein. Led by God and His word, Team Klein has transformed a small family farm into a thriving and growing non-profit Christian ministry.
Simple Faith Ranch has a variety of animals and activities here at the ranch that we enjoy sharing! We recently moved from Maryland to Lancaster, South Carolina! Contact us to come visit the Ranch to meet the animals and experience ranch life! Follow us to keep up with ranch life and upcoming events! Volunteers raise, train and use animals in SFR evangelistic activities and in providing therapy, comfort and the Gospel. Here are some of the animals you’ll find at the farm.
Alpacas are always the most popular animals on the farm. The only problem most people have when visiting SFR Alpacas is deciding which Alpaca is their favorite!
Alpacas are naturally gentle, funny and fascinating. After being trained by SFR, they make wonderful therapy animals. Their soft humming noise is unique and creates a calm peaceful atmosphere.
When you visit Simple Faith Ranch, you will be able to pet the alpacas, feed them, and even lead them through an obstacle course! (Yes, they are that smart!) You will also learn about God’s perfect plan for alpacas, how they are shorn each year, and how we use their fiber.
Sheep raised on Simple Faith Ranch are like the sheep David described in Psalm 23. They help to illustrate what our true relationship should be to Jesus, the Great Shepherd, and how we should follow Him. You will enjoy petting, feeding, and learning about their wool.
Baxter is our resident Giant Flemish rabbit. If you have never met a giant rabbit, you are in for a treat! He loves children and also likes to show off his jumping tricks in his play yard!
Abner and Gus are the newest additions to the Ranch! Be sure to notice the cross on their backs! Jesus demonstrated his humble nature when he chose this animal to ride into Jerusalem!
A ranch wouldn’t be complete without a lively bunch of barn cats! Keep watch around corners and you will usually see one or two. But be alert. They keep trying to hitch rides in visitors’ cars as they leave the farm!
It is always fun to see what new animals have arrived at the ranch. Currently, there is a wonderful Australian Shepherd dog at the farm. He is in training to herd the sheep, and possibly even some farm visitors! We also have our faithful dog, Charlie, with his wagging tail and happy face!
We often have Golden Retrievers visiting the ranch. These Goldens have been trained for therapy and they focus attention on God’s unconditional love and free gift of everlasting life.
